The TorkOne rack-and-pinion quarter-turn pneumatic actuator is a high-performance solution for valve automation.
Its springless air chamber design ensures 100% torque output during normal operation and up to 2× torque during fail-open or fail-close events, outperforming conventional spring-return actuators.

Proprietary pneumatic fail-safe (pneumatic return / air return / air fail-safe) design replaces traditional spring-return systems.

Eliminates the need for a large spring, preventing injuries or damage caused by broken springs or spring wear.
Configuration Flexibility
One actuator supports both double-acting and single-acting modes. No internal changes (springs or pistons) are required to switch from fail-open to fail-close. Switching is done externally by rotating the solenoid valves.

More Torque
Provides 100% torque in normal operation. In fail-safe mode (triggered by air supply loss), torque starts at 100% and gradually decreases from 86% to 68% at the end of stroke. In comparison, traditional spring-return actuators drop from 60% to 40%.
Microbial Contamination Risk
Low – no spring means ambient air does not enter the actuator; only clean instrument air is used.
Washdown / CIP Compatibility
Yes – sealed, positive-pressure internals; no swab testing required.
